What Makes Your Tank Unique?

This is my first time keeping discus and Gabe was wonderful to work with, insisting on a phone call to talk about my setup and experience before shipping the fish. The tank has been up and running for a year or so prior to adding the fish to make sure the ecosystem was mature.  Although I have had some struggles with Hex due to overfeeding(fixed per Gabe’s youtube channel/blog), that has been overcome and Jack Whattley Discus have the biggest personality of any fish I have ever kept.  Watching the discus serenely explore the tank while I work is wonderfully calming during my otherwise stressful days.

What Do You Like Best About Your Tank?

Bright & Varied Fish Colors as well as the ever changing plantscape/ecosystem. A calming addition to a stressful workplace.
