What Makes Your Tank Unique?

My 55 gallon planted discus and angelfish community tank is an Amazon river basin inspired “ biotope” aquarium. It has a new pair of discus fish, returning back into the  discus hobby after a 2 year break from keeping discus. My tank has 6 angelfish, and community fish such as cardinals, Cory’s, 3 Bolivian rams, and 3 glow fish. I do a weekly water change of 25% each weekend. Tank has been running for 4 years.

What Do You Like Best About Your Tank?

It give me a sense of pride and joy that I get to create an underwater world for the fish. In addition its my therapy after work, enjoy watching fish swim which relaxes and calms me down.

Just setting up a discus tank, trying to figure out what filtration to use. I see some picture with sumps, some with hang on backs, some cannisters, which one? I like Yeimy’s set up, nice clean and seems to be what I want for mines. like Sebastian’s also as I also have a 55g. Can someone tell me more about either tank? Teally trying to get this right. I’ve had S/W reefs, just stepping asway for a minute, maybe for good depending on how this goes, lol. MORE ADVICE would really be useful. Any would really help

    thanks
